Touch Of Fire ~ Fact Page
Character Outlines
Leda: I created her to be an absolute loyalist to her House. She was raised to despise the plainfolk and their ways. Leda is book smart, but very ignorant about the world at large. She holds on to her prejudices far longer than Grey because it makes her feel secure.
When her life-long absolutes are shattered with new evidence, she is forced to confront her narrow-mindedness and accept some hard truths.
Leda can be volatile. A spitfire at heart, she prefers to shoot first and ask questions later.
***
Greyhawke Tams: Grey is an easy going guy. He's spent ten years in the army and is ready to settle down to his farm. There's never been a special woman in his life so he decided to hire a pleasure woman to tend his home and his bed.
His plans are thwarted when he gets knocked out in a bar fight and finds himself indentured to Leda.
Grey is sensible, practical, but has a wicked sense of humor among people he knows and is comfortable with. But don't cross him. Grey will hold a grudge and is big enough to make it hurt when he catches you.
***
Senosai: The Fire Lord has been thwarted from his goal for the last twenty years, but he's not a man who takes defeat lying down. He is single-minded in his quest to find the fifth Elemental, a fae who can read thought. He is absolutely certain such a creature exists.
Senosai is stuck on a world he no longer recognizes, but he rises to power and restructures fae society to fit his needs. Armed with the knowledge of the old age, he turns himself into a wizard of extraordinary power. Fae and plainfolk alike fear him. They should. He has no qualms about killing you to prove a point.
Relentless, obsessed and insane for power, he is a man who will not be denied.
***
Trideus: Trideus is in the same boat that Senosai is in, but unlike the fire lord, Trideus reaches out to the desert dwellers and learns their ways. After twenty years he is revered as a shaman and a teacher.
Trideus wants to do the right thing, but Senosai has grown too bold and powerful. He should have acted when he and Senosai arrived here. Now it may be too late.
***
Ilia: Ilia is a woman who has made some bad choices but for good reasons. In order to keep the infant Leda, she literally makes a deal with the devil (Senosai). It comes back to haunt her when her own infant is taken from her.
She is a sad woman, but she is dutiful and obedient to the end.
***
Seelie: Seelie is everything I hated about being a teenager! She is brash, overly confident and annoying. She's also terribly promiscuous. I wanted to make her the antithesis to Leda.
Everything about Leda is control. Seelie is about letting it all hang out.
Seelie is a good kid though, just immature and clueless about danger.
